On today’s menu: one of the most iconic and breathtaking routes in the Dolomites — the Sella Ronda, with a twist. We add an extra challenge to the classic loop by starting with the Passo Valparola, setting the tone for an unforgettable day in the mountains. From there, we dive into the legendary circuit, tackling a sequence of world-renowned climbs: Passo Pordoi, with its smooth switchbacks and sweeping views; Passo Sella, dramatic and majestic beneath the jagged peaks; and Passo Gardena, offering a perfect blend of beauty and flow. This loop is not just a ride — it’s a showcase of the very best the Dolomites have to offer: iconic climbs, surreal alpine landscapes, and a sense of wonder around every corner. A true highlight of the week.
Today’s epic loop by taking you first over the iconic Passo Campolongo, a classic Dolomites climb with stunning views and smooth gradients.
Next, you tackle the Passo Giau, one of the most spectacular and challenging climbs in the Dolomites, famous for its steep sections and jaw-dropping panoramas. After conquering Giau, you descend toward Passo Falzarego, a climb rich in history and surrounded by dramatic rock formations. The route continues over Passo Valparola, offering sweeping alpine vistas before descending back to La Villa. This loop combines some of the Dolomites’ most iconic passes, delivering a day full of challenge, beauty, and unforgettable riding.
After checking out of the hotel, we transfer by van to the beautiful town of Cortina d’Ampezzo, where today’s ride begins. We start by climbing the scenic Passo Tre Croci, a steady ascent that warms up the legs while offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. At the summit, we enjoy a few kilometers of flat riding along the crystal-clear waters of Lake Misurina, a truly magical spot nestled beneath towering mountains. From here, the iconic climb to Tre Cime di Lavaredo begins — one of the most breathtaking and unforgettable ascents you will ever experience, with dramatic rock formations and panoramic vistas at every turn. After conquering Tre Cime, we descend back to Cortina, where the bikes are loaded into the van for a short transfer to Canazei, your home for the next two nights. Check into your new hotel, relax, and get ready for more epic riding in the days ahead.
Today we explore a new valley (Val Di Fassa), opening up a fresh set of iconic climbs. We’ll ride the challenging Passo San Pellegrino, a favorite among cyclists for its smooth gradients and beautiful alpine scenery. Next, we tackle Passo Fedaia, where the views reach another level — at the summit, you’ll be greeted by the stunning Marmolada glacier and the shimmering lake below, a truly breathtaking sight.
From there, enjoy a thrilling descent down into Canazei, marking the final ride of the trip with spectacular landscapes and a well-earned sense of accomplishment.
