Cycling in Mallorca

Europe's favourite cycling island

NO BETTER PLACE FOR CYCLING

There is no better place than Mallorca for cyclists who want proof their training island of choice is also the pro peloton's. Dramatic coastal mountains, immaculately surfaced roads and a mild climate almost year-round guarantee every rider a sense of complete and utter freedom. Our tours are based around the legendary Serra de Tramuntana, the same mountain range chosen every winter and spring by WorldTour teams for race preparation camps. Here you can climb roads ridden by the biggest names in the sport, enjoy exceptional Mediterranean food, and experience why Mallorca has become Europe's single most popular cycling destination. Our aim is to help make your holiday special, by providing the best routes and the best experiences.

Mallorca's cycling appeal comes down to a rare combination: a genuine mountain range rising straight from the Mediterranean, a mild climate that makes it rideable in comfort for most of the year, and a road network built and maintained with cyclists firmly in mind. Few destinations anywhere in the world combine this much world-class climbing with this much reliable sunshine.

Mallorca is the largest of Spain's Balearic Islands, and its cycling culture has grown to the point where it now shapes the local economy each spring. The Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage mountain range, offers legendary climbs like the Sa Calobra and Puig Major, while the island's quieter interior and coastal roads provide gentler riding for recovery days. Given its combination of serious climbing and dependable climate, Mallorca is a destination where visitors can enjoy a holiday full of high-quality training, relaxation and the thrill of riding the same roads as the world's best.

When you think of Mallorcan food, expect classic Mediterranean island cuisine built for refuelling after a big day of climbing. Ensaïmada (a spiral pastry) and pa amb oli (bread with olive oil, tomato and local cheese or cured meats) are island staples, alongside excellent fresh seafood and the local sobrassada cured sausage. Mallorcan wines, increasingly recognised beyond the island, pair perfectly with a day spent in the saddle. There are countless cafés and restaurants throughout the island, set in wonderful coastal and mountain locations, and we will bring you to the best.
