Undiscovered and unique, this is the Algarve.
Quiet roads, smooth tarmac, and a stunning coastline define the riding here, creating a region that feels both relaxed and inspiring on the bike. This cycling holiday is perfectly timed as a pre-season trip, ideal for building form ahead of the spring and summer, whether you are a racer or simply looking to enjoy quality riding in great conditions.
The week is built around the Volta ao Algarve, giving you the chance to experience the atmosphere of a pro race and watch the peloton up close on selected stages. The highlight of the trip is the Algarve Gran Fondo on Saturday, followed by the hill climb on Sunday—your opportunity to take part and test yourself on the same roads.
As the official event partner of the Algarve Gran Fondo, we offer a fully integrated experience both on and off the bike.
By booking the trip your entry is guaranteed.

Today we get a chance to test out the legs and route of the Gran Fondo.
We climb Malhao which is one of the most famous climbs in the region.
On the way back to the hotel, we watch the pro race going by in Alte, by the famous cycling cafe’ Germano.
Today’s ride takes you to Querenca, a stunning village located in the heart of the Algarve where you can enjoy a nice cafe stop with some cakes in the town square. The road to Querenca is rolling and very quiet, passing through the Barranco Forest. A great pre Gran Fondo ride.
Today is the big day! Is your day to enjoy the biggest cycling event of the year in the Algarve.
After the Gran Fondo we get another chance to watch the pros going through the same finish a few our after the amateurs.
