Our aim is simple: to provide the best routes, experiences and support for an unforgettable cycling holiday. Our tours are based around some of the country's most spectacular terrain, a training ground long favoured by professional cycling teams for its quiet, well-surfaced roads. Here you can cycle through dramatic mountain passes, taste some of Central Europe's best food and wine, and experience a destination most cyclists have never had on their radar.

Our aim is to help make your holiday special, by providing the best routes and the best experiences.

Portugal's cycling appeal starts with its climate — the Algarve in particular offers some of the mildest, sunniest winters in Europe, which is exactly why so many riders and professional teams head there each year to escape the cold. Further north, the landscape changes dramatically: the Douro Valley's steep, terraced vineyard hillsides offer some of the most demanding and scenic climbing anywhere in the country.

Portugal sits on the Atlantic edge of the Iberian Peninsula, and its cycling terrain reflects its long, varied coastline and mountainous interior. The Algarve's quiet coastal and countryside roads make it one of the most approachable, enjoyable regions to ride, while the Serra da Estrela — mainland Portugal's highest mountain range — offers genuine alpine-style climbing for riders looking for a bigger challenge. Given its mild climate and varied terrain, Portugal is a destination where visitors can enjoy a holiday full of relaxed riding, serious training or both, depending on where you base yourself.

When you think of Portuguese food, expect exceptional seafood and warm, simple hospitality. Bacalhau (salted cod) is prepared in hundreds of different ways across the country, alongside grilled sardines, fresh Atlantic seafood and Portugal's famous pastel de nata. The Douro Valley, birthplace of Port wine, produces some of the most celebrated wines in the world, best enjoyed looking out over the terraced hillsides you've just climbed. There are countless tascas and restaurants throughout the country, set in wonderful coastal and countryside locations, and we will bring you to the best.
