Lake Garda or Benaco is the largest and the cleanest lake in Italy. Its wider part to the south is surrounded by morainic hills that were left following the glacier recession, while the narrow northern part is enclosed by the mountains that create its fjord-shape configuration and provide a very mild Mediterranean climate.

Lake Garda is a unique destination and getting around to discover the culture and local traditions is easy at any time of the year. The luminous environment, temperate climate, and flourishing vegetation - mainly olive and lemon groves, palms, cypresses, oleanders and orange trees - along with the majestic landscapes are the background to the remarkable historical and cultural remains spread all around and make this lake the most charming in Italy. Given the intense colour of its water with a marked shade of blue and matchless transparency, Lake Garda is a unique spot where visitors and guests can enjoy a holiday full of relaxation, sports, fun and the thrill of discovering new places

When you think of ‘Italy’ you immediately think of ‘food’, the two words are synonymous with each other. The Italian culture and way of life revolves almost entirely around food and although based on simple recipies, Italian food is very diverse. The ‘cucina’ of the region of Lake Garda is with it’s ‘Brescian’, ‘Veronese’ and mediterranean influences, and local specialities from the mountains or the lake, is among the best. There are literally thousands of restaurants in Lake Garda, set in and wonderful locations in the beautiful towns around the lake, and we will bring you in the best.
