Cigala Cycling Tours grew out of years of coaching riders of every level — and the realization that people don’t just want to ride, they want to experience. So I built tours around exactly that: hand-picked roads, small groups, no crowds, no shortcuts.
Every trip is guided by a team of former pros who know these roads because they’ve ridden them for years, not read them off a script. Good food, real local stops, and the kind of ride you actually remember.

Every tour is carefully designed by Matteo and let either by him or a member of the team — not a seasonal tour guide — so you’re riding with people who know these roads from racing on them and organising tours for over a decade.
This was my first cycling trip, and I was depending on Cigala Tours to make it a good one. They did not disappoint. Matteo, Merine and company were fantastic, putting together a great itinerary (rides, lunches and dinners, and other activities), and making sure that everyone had a wonderful time. The accommodations were nice, and all of the chosen restaurants were excellent. And if you haven’t been to Lake Garda, you have to go; it’s beautiful.
I had so much fun, and can’t wait until my next trip with Cigala Tours. Thank you Matteo and Merine for being tremendous hosts. I’ll see you again soon.
Had a wonderful tour with Cigala in the French Alps in June 2025. Matteo, Marine and Jacapo have it dialed in. I just showed up ready to pedal and they took care of the rest— excellent rental bikes, phenomenal routes with stunning views, gracious accommodations and delicious food with local charm. What an incredible week.
The riding was spectacular, the scenery was out of this world, the food was amazing and everything ran so smoothly that all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. Matteo knows these roads like the back of his hand and somehow found the perfect balance of challenging climbs, unforgettable descents and coffee stops. Marine made everyone feel completely at home from day one, and Amadeo brought endless energy and encouragement every single day.

Airport transfers are arranged at a set time for all public tours — you will find the details in the description. We can also arrange a private transfer at a supplement if you arrive at a different time. Just let know your flight details when booking.
