RIDE INTO THE LEGEND , TAKE PART IN THE GRAN FONDO STRADE BIANCHE

Every cyclist has heard of the iconic Strade Bianche—that thrilling, dust-filled race across the historic white gravel roads of Tuscany. It’s a modern classic, blending professional racing with the soul of cycling’s golden era.

But what if you could experience it yourself—not from the sidelines, but from the saddle? We’ve created a unique cycling holiday based in the heart of the Chianti region, designed specifically for riders who want to immerse themselves in the magic of Tuscany, challenge themselves on the same gravel sectors as the pros, and ride in one of the most atmospheric amateur events in Europe: the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche.

The events have two routes for you to choose from: the ‘Gran Fondo’ and the ‘Medio Fondo’.
The ‘Gran Fondo’ is 139km with 31.4km of white roads.
The ‘Medio Fondo’ is 86km with 26.6km of white roads.
The start and finish of both routes is the same, with the finish in Piazza Del Campo, the main square of Siena.

ARRIVAL DAY AND SHORT RIDE

Welcome to Lake Como. After grabbing some lunch and getting the bike ready, we head out for a short 40 km ride to Civiglio, a nice climb in Como overlooking the lake

WHITE ROADS AND STRADE BIANCHE RECEE
80km | 1500mt

Today we get a chance to test out the legs and route of Gran Fondo Il Lombardia.
We climb Sormano, descent into Nesso, Bellagio and climb the Ghisallo for then come back to the hotel.

CHIANTI LOOP
57km | 1000mt

We head to the most famous climb of the lake, Madonna del Ghisallo, which we will do again on Sunday from the other side. After that, we descent into Bellagio, take the ferry across and come back from the west side of the lake.

CASTELLINA LOOP AND COFFE RIDE

Today a nice coffee ride into Lecco before the big day tomorrow.
